Curiosity. When people realize their need to be right stops all other ideas than theirs, there is hope for connection and communication. Being curious and feeling safe to ask questions means there is less defensiveness and closed-mindedness.
The wind in the trees while l was walking my clients daughters dogs. I am a nurse and l occasionally help out with the good boys as she broke her pelvis before Christmas. We talked about the wind and them being such good dogs. It brought tears for some reason.
